Description
eLoop supported DiARC – Department of Architecture of the University of Naples Federico II in creating a tool to help evaluate different technical alternatives for building retrofits, designed to support the energy transition of existing residential buildings. The project makes it possible to compare potential renovation interventions, analyzing their effects in terms of energy performance, environmental benefits, and technical-economic feasibility. Our contribution focused on developing the calculation model underlying the tool, defining the methodological logic, the evaluation parameters, and the criteria for comparing the different intervention solutions. The model was then integrated into the digital platform, making the results accessible and usable as decision support in building retrofit planning processes.
