We have undertaken many rigorous environmental impact analysis with the LCA Life Cycle Assessment methodology for Italian and international companies. With these analysis, we have help companies to reduce costs, improve branding, positioning their company as sustainable to open to new markets and business opportunities.

ALGAE4IBD involves the evaluation of socio-economic and environmental sustainability of processes for micro and macro algae harvesting and their utilization for the prevention and treatment of inflammation, pain and IBD.

HIT- Hydrogen Iron Transport

Life Cycle Assessment

eLoop supports the HIT - Hydrogen Iron Transport project, handling the environmental and economic assessment. The project explores the use of DRI iron as a reversible hydrogen carrier via redox reactions among iron, iron oxide, and water vapor. The goal is to evaluate if this system can be a safe, sustainable, and scalable alternative to conventional hydrogen carriers for long-distance transport.

Building Assessment Model – DiARC

Multi-Criteria Analysis Building & Construction

eLoop supported DiARC – Department of Architecture at the University of Naples Federico II in developing a tool to assess technical alternatives for building retrofits, supporting the energy transition of existing residential buildings. The project allows comparing renovation options by analyzing energy performance, environmental benefits, and technical-economic feasibility.

How much does a home delivery emit? – Bevy Express

CO₂ Carbon Footprint

eLoop assessed the CO₂ emissions of Bevy’s home delivery service, focusing on: deliveries to specific floors, returnable containers, collection of empty containers, and electric vans. The analysis identified the main areas for environmental improvement to optimize the service.

Sustainability Report – Siat Installazioni S.p.A.

Sustainability Report

We guided Siat in preparing its first Sustainability Report: from data analysis to the definition of environmental, social and governance KPIs, through to communication and graphic design, to make the sustainability strategy measurable and tangible.

BRINE-CARB

CO₂ CCUS

RINE-CARB addresses the sustainable management of high-salinity brines and the reduction of CO₂ emissions. The project uses brine to capture and mineralize CO₂ from industrial gases, producing carbonates and bicarbonates to be used as additives in construction materials. The approach integrates brine treatment, CO₂ absorption, and a pilot system with Digital Twin.

Suprem Milk

Dairy Value Chains Sustainability

SUPREM-MILK is a PRIMA project focused on the sustainability and resilience of dairy value chains in the Mediterranean. It involves Italy,Turkey,Egypt,Morocco,France and Spain,with a focus on Egypt, Morocco and Turkey. The project was launched to address climate change, dependence on external inputs and pressure on natural resources, aiming for greater circularity, self-sufficiency and efficiency.

SMASOEA

Dairy Farming Sustainable Livestock Farming

SMASOEA promotes more sustainable, efficient dairy farming with a focus on animal welfare. The goal is to improve productivity, milk quality, environmental performance and traceability. The project has 2 lines: testing Precision Livestock Farming systems and developing innovative feeds and precision diets using by-products and low-impact forages.

Remadyl: recycling of old PVC

Recycling

The Remadyl project aims to recycle the so-called "legacy PVC", i.e. PVC containing hazardous legacy additives such as phthalate plasticizers and heavy metal-based stabilizers.

Carbon Footprint of detergent - smol

Quantification of carbon emissions reduction of the life cycle of Smol detergents compared to conventional products, support developing information campaigns to educate customers regarding the environmental impact and ways to reduce it.

Peer review and standards compliance verification

eLoop supported Ricardo, a British global engineering and environmental consultancy, providing third-party assurance to LCA studies and demonstrating compliance with ISO standards. 3D printing.

PP sustainability assessment

Evaluation of the environmental performance of PP film production in 2021. Estimating the impact of future investment using LCA methodology as a decision support tool.

Enhancement of internal research and development activities

eLoop supported QUBRA for the eligibility of the Research and Development (R&D) tax credit under Art. 3 of DL 145/2013 of Italian Law. QUBRA saved around 111 k € in one year in the form of a tax credit.
