He is also a member of the Environmental Footprint Technical Advisory Board of the European Commission, the body overseeing the PEF and OEF methods (Product and Organisation Environmental Footprint), the European Union's reference standards for measuring the environmental performance of products and organisations. He leads Sustainability Assessment activities across numerous European research projects and is the author of more than 50 scientific publications in international journals, widely cited by the scientific community. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the journal Sustainable Production and Consumption (Elsevier) and, in 2023, was awarded the prestigious five-year Research Fellowship of the Royal Academy of Engineering (RAEng) for the AMBITION project, dedicated to absolute environmental sustainability within the Planetary Boundaries.
Since 2018, the year he co-founded eLoop, he has led the company's strategic vision and international development, bringing to his consultancy work the same scientific rigour that defines his research.

Mariachiara Volpe
Mariachiara Volpe has been a Sustainability & Communication Consultant at eLoop since 2023, where she manages the company's communication and supports businesses and organisations in the storytelling of their sustainability performance. Her path began in fashion design: in 2025 she earned a bachelor's degree in Fashion Design from IUAD – Accademia della Moda in Naples, with the thesis "A'ntrasatta", a project dedicated to recovering and adding value to waste from native Italian raw wool, developed in collaboration with eLoop to measure the environmental impact of the garments, comparing native wool with the synthetic materials commonly used in the textile sector. The work reflected, from the outset, her interest in the integration of sustainability, design and local heritage.
