Our Team

Andrea Paulillo

Co‑Founder & Chief Executive Officer / Senior Researcher

Andrea Paulillo is a chemical engineer with a PhD in Chemical Engineering from University College London (UCL), where he also serves as Senior Research Fellow and lecturer. He has a strong track record in scientific research and sustainable innovation, with numerous publications in international journals and contributions to conferences in the fields of chemical engineering and sustainability.With years of experience in applied research, consultancy, and the development of quantitative methodologies, Andrea is a recognized expert in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and evidence-based strategies for energy, materials, and industrial processes.

As Co‑Founder and Chief Executive Officer of eLoop, he leads CSR Projects that help companies and organizations integrate sustainability in a strategic way.

Roberto Chirone

Co-founder, Board Member & Head of Sustainability Business

Roberto Chirone is a chemical engineer with a PhD from University College London (UCL). He serves as Board Member and Sustainability Consultant at eLoop, with expertise in energy transition, circular economy, industrial ecology, and Industry 4.0.

As a co-founder of eLoop, since 2018 he has contributed to the development of methodologies and projects for assessing and improving environmental sustainability, with a particular focus on life cycle assessment (LCA).

In addition to his work at eLoop, Roberto is a Senior Researcher at the University of Naples “Federico II” and participates in international scientific initiatives and research projects in the field of sustainability and environmental technologies.

Lucio Pessolano Filos

Board Member & Chief Financial Officer

Lucio has a Masters in Business Economics from the University of Naples "Federico II". He is a chartered accountant and statutory auditor.

Lucio has expertise in the Corporate and Tax sectors, as well as Green Finance with a focus on Sustainable Development and Circular. Lucio is an expert in the development of Benefit companies.

Mauro Chirone

Partner and Process Consultant

Mauro is a Senior Chartered chemical engineer. Mauro has significant experience in process planning and detailed engineering in a wide range of projects in the sector of energy generation, refining, gas and chemical treatment.

Paula Redon de Motta

Board Member, Business Development and Marketing director

Paula holds an MBA with academic excellence award by SKK GSB (Seoul, South Korea) with emphasis on digital marketing and business development. Paula is a chartered civil engineer with the ICE (UK) and Spanish institution. She studied civil engineering in the Polytechnic University of Valencia. She has experience leading infrastructure projects and developing businesses.

Paula has strong analytical, management and coordination skills. She is currently in charge of marketing and business development at eLoop.
